"The idea was born in the spring of 2020 when I adopted Racùn, an adorable Somali kitten.

The latter then had small health concerns which prompted me to consult a veterinarian. However, since the clinic is a 20-minute walk from my home, I did not want to carry my cat at arm's length in a transport cage.

Also, I wanted a useful backpack that I could personally use when I wasn't carrying Racùn.

After realizing that there was no such thing as a dual-use means of transportation, I decided to createa design, functional and comfortable backpack for cats and humans."
